Bike Mask

Some guy let me wear his bike mask.

     Pretty cool, huh?

     I need one of these.

It looks like something you could wear on a 'Star Wars Speeder Bike'.

This is a typical table set-up that I do nightly at the bar.

On a drawing board are paintings on paper in progress of Darth Vader and an Imperial Guard.

I like Star Wars, and paintings that have anything to do with Star Wars usually sell.

I have to make more Star Wars paintings, because I want to sell.

I'm pretty tired of being poor.

     It sucks.

I need some play money that I can do some stuff with for myself, and for my art.

I sell painted napkins, works on paper, and on canvas.

     I can't sell enough.

I have to go in every night, just to generate business.

A lot of alcohol gets involved, but I'm not complaining about that.

     haha

Talking Paulitics

I guess there are people named Paul.
Here is my art on a bar table, which requires me going to the bar seven nights a week in order to get a sale.
I have found out I need a lot of stuff out in order to attract business, which means I have to carry a lot of stuff on my bike.
The exercise keeps me alive, I guess.

Iron Man Slurpee Container

This Iron Man Slurpee Container that I bought for $5 from 7/11, I now bring to the bar.

A small can of Olympia can be poured in.

Drinking the beer through a big slurpee straw can get you drunk pretty fast, haha.

The LP's that I have are being used as palettes, for my painting.

Anyways, I like having Iron Man on my table, because, you know, Tony Stark was an alcoholic in the comics.

The container also provides a phallic symbol on my table, which helps to sell my art.

It is good to have something vertical on the table.

Sleeping Bum

A friend suggested that he was a real life leprechaun with a pot of gold.
That is pretty funny, I hadn't thought of that.

Instead, I just thought of it as a bum with a beer can.

Plus, a leprechaun would never drink Olde English 800.

The Irish are not fans of the English.

I also took the picture because it seemed it was kind of a good composition to make a painting from.
If I was not so lazy, I would do it.
Also, who would buy a painting such as this?
     I don't know.

Manet made some paintings of homeless people.  They are actually quite good, which is the reason for my interest in this subject as art.

In real life, though, this particular bum is a real pain in the ass.

It is a public street in front of the bar I go to every night, so nothing can be done about situations like this.

I guess it is all part of the entertainment.

Ironically, this is from a 'Ren & Stimpy' cartoon, where they are actually living inside a bum's mouth.

So, they could be living inside the bum's mouth pictured above, you never know.

Hey, no one said that comedy was pretty.

The Fate of The Universe

I am going in early tonight.
     Wish me luck.
Fridays have been kind to me recently.
I hope tonight continues this trend.

Thursday, March 6, 2014

I have not written on this blog for sometime, because, "What is the point?"

     I don't know.

I mostly write for my own pleasure.  I am not expecting a paycheck anytime soon for my writings.

     Anyway, here is a picture...

     Isn't it lovely?

The alleyway is a public street, so there is nothing anybody in the bar can do about situations like this.  It is not their jurisdiction.

Here is Elvis Christ....He is a nightmare of a human being...

He requires a lot of attention.
With multiple arrests to his credit, even the cops are tired of him.

Nobody knows what to do with him.

I wish someone would take him out of his misery, or give him a one-way bus ticket to Tennessee.

Otherwise, things have been pretty fun at the bar lately.  I've been bringing my Playstation One, playing casino and arcade games.  The lighting in the bar is low, so it makes the games look bright and filled with life.  I have headphones so the noise does not bother anybody.

Unfortunately, I've been in a five day drought of selling art.  I was on a roll there for a while; not selling means I have to spend the money I earned.  Eeek.

Anyway, I will try again tonight to sell.  Wish me luck.
